Generation X,Y,Z is fifteen years old!

Generation X,Y,Z is a writing group based in Rockhampton, Queensland. We mostly write speculative fiction – such as fantasy, horror, sci-fi, steampunk, supernatural, and alternative history – short stories, novellas, novels, and poetry.

Generation X,Y,Z was conceived and formed in 2008 by local author, Lana Watkins. On finding that the existing writing groups catered mainly for other demographics, Lana decided to form a group for those who wrote genre/speculative fiction and poetry.

Generation X,Y,Z meets every second Thursday evening in Rockhampton. There is no cost.

During the meetings we discuss writing, share work and resources, and do some fun writing exercises. Tea and coffee are provided.
